Red Wings Game!

So for Roz's Birthday/Christmas gift I got tickets for both of us to go see the Red Wings play the Islanders in Long Island. Roz is a huge Red Wings fan and so she was really excited! I was excited too because the Red Wings are a MUCH better team than the Islanders! Wellllllllllllllll.......the game didn't go as expected!

We still had fun though and if I'm around next year I want to go again!

New Years Eve In Times Square!!

This year for New Years Eve I was feeling a little bit crazy and I decided that I wanted to go to Times Square to celebrate the new year! I asked around and got all of the advice I could from people who had done it (most of which was DON'T GO!) and figured I was set, it was going to be a LONG day but at least at the end of it I could say that I had been to Times Square on New Years!

The traffic could barely get through the people there were sooooo many people in Times Square!

So they are SOOOOOO disorganized! At around 2pm the police had to get EVERYONE out of Times Square. Then they started making little pens to put people in. So everyone is just stuck trying to get into the pens, it was horrible people in the back are pushing and you're soooo squished! There were a few times I thought I could die when my body was being pushed one way and there was no where for my feet to move so I was slanted, but luckily there were so many people around me that I couldn't fall even if I wanted to! It was insane!

There was enough room that we could sit a little and so the three of us did that a lot! We even played a game of Farkle with a guy by us because I brought dice, random I know, I lost my cards somewhere that day :(

So our Stake Presidency has asked us to bring these blue Book Of Mormon's everywhere we go, so I figured I had to bring it! I thought I would have time to read it but it really wasn't convenient to just sit and read. It was funny when I forgot it was in my jacket and unzipped it and it fell onto my friends lap, the guy we were talking to saw it and a few minutes later asked if we were all Mormons. That of course went into the Musical and everything...

We turned around and could see fireworks going off over Central Park at Midnight, man this city sure knows how to party!

We all survived!

There were no trash cans so we were all supposed to just throw our trash on the ground all day! It was against everything I had ever been taught! Such a weird feeling to just throw your trash on the ground! Think of this ALL over Times Square, it was awful!

Well Happy New Year Everyone! I hope your evening didn't drag on quite like mine did! And if you're wondering whether you should go to Times Square next year to celebrate the New Years all I can say is GOOD FREAKIN' LUCK...

Caroline's Furniture!

This week I've been helping Caroline put together some furniture for her new room! It's been really fun working with Caroline on this, we make a great team! I love getting to spend this time with her.

Out of Gas!

So today I was supposed to take the boys to the Bronx to visit their grandparents because they have power and we don't! When I got in the car it looked like this:

So I thought to myself no big deal I'll go get gas, well after about 5 of these signs I really started to get worried! How do no gas stations have gas?! Isn't that their job?!

FINALLY at seriously the 10th gas station I tried I finally got gas! And it was kind of like the prices were these:

Moral of the story: Next time be prepared and have plenty of gas at home! Dang Irene!

Hurricane Irene

This weekend Hurricane Irene/Tropical Storm Irene (whichever you'd like to call her) paid a visit to our lovely state of Connecticut! Stores were overrun with people, you couldn't find D batteries anywhere, everyone was buying water, it was pretty crazy!

I spent the night at Roz's house and because they're painting the rooms upstairs here were our sleeping arrangements, Connor, Caroline, and I had a little sleepover downstairs in the family room and Christina was upstairs in her Mom's bed with her. I woke up a million times in the night because I was thinking about the storm and what the rain/winds could be doing outside!

Connor watching the rain outside. He was so nervous about the Hurricane all weekend that he followed his mom around the house and then I got there and gave him someone new to follow, let me tell you guys it would have driven you crazy!

These HUGE branches fell off of one of her trees and we had to get saws out and clippers to cut them all up because they were just so big!

Ok, ok, this didn't fall down, we put it down just so the winds wouldn't do it for us.

Well after a long visit with Irene I finally tried to make my way home, which normally takes 12 minutes from Roz's home, but not when you run into these kinds of obstacles! Irene was not very nice to us!

It took forever to get home and thank goodness I have a gps because I had to take so many roads I've never taken. I'm pretty sure that most of CT does not have power. It was interesting to walk into our home and have everyone sitting around the table with candles and flashlights!

This morning I went out to visit my cottage, there are big branches down all around it that you have to climb over get into the cottage but luckily none of them actually fell on the cottage, it survived!

Lucky me, this week I've been helping Roz paint her kid's bedrooms! Here are some pictures of the fun we had today!

Sydney came and helped today! So nice of her! We miss having her around all the time, she's always fun to be with and the kids love her, and with her there's never a dull moment!

After we painted one room we were tired and laying on the floor, here we are showing you our dirty, painted hands!

Relief Society Activity

Today my ward had a Relief Society Activity where we made headbands to give away! It was a lot of fun spending time with the girls in my ward, we have such a great group of girls! Here are some of the pictures!

Mocktail Party!

Tonight my friend Nate had a "Mock"tail party at his house. He did an AMAZING job! He and another guy in my ward had looked up Cocktails and how to make them online and had so many non-alcoholic things for us to choose from! And they did it with such style! But it was awesome, seriously they pulled out all the stops! I want to do it again! Of course I didn't drink any of the drinks because I don't have sugar, but that just made me the designated driver :) SO MUCH FUN!

Wacky Hair Day!

Today was wacky hair day for the Bible Camp that the kids I used to nanny for go to and so since I had time to stop by and help out they wanted me to come and do their hair, it's so fun to be wanted! Here are my creations!

Excuse Caroline's face, it usually isn't this ugly, her hair is inspired by Pippy Longstocking and it's how my mom used to always do my hair for Wacky Hair Day in Elementary School growing up!

Christina is inspired by Whos from "The Grinch that Stole Christmas" Let's just call her Christina-loo-who!

Casey did this really great mohawk on Connor Bonnor, he looked great!

Today Christina and I went on a date that I've owed her for a very long time and we had so much fun painting pottery! Look at the amazing things we painted! Can you tell who painted which? Don't worry the answer is in the second to last picture!

Afterwards we just had to go to the gelato place nearby! Christina says it was yummy, I wouldn't know because 1) I don't eat sugar and 2) I'm on a cleanse so I couldn't try it if I wanted to!

What a fun Fourth of July today has been! My ward had a BBQ today and so it was fun to get together with everyone and play volleyball, ping-pong, talk, and eat! Four things I am A-MAZING at! After the BBQ we all drove over to another party right next to were the fireworks would be going off and walked over to the high school to watch the fireworks, they were amazing OF COURSE! Tonight was C's Mexican Performance at school. It was cute the kids had learned some songs and poems in spanish and performed them for all of us. C did a great job!

Hiking with Magic!

Today Magic and I went on a hike with Connor, Christina, and Roz. It was soooo much fun! Magic was so excited to be out and about and the kids were so excited that she was there too! Well Connor wanted to hold Magic's leash but Magic is WAY too strong and so I held the leash and Connor held the middle of it for almost all of the hike.

I really want to see what this place looks like in the Summer, it will be sooooo green!

There were lots of little streams and a few even went over the path so we had to jump over them!

Memphis

Tonight I went and saw Memphis! It was amazing!

I went and saw it with my ex-employer Roz. She had told me when I left the job as a going away gift we would go see a Broadway together, well seven months later we finally got around to seeing our Broadway! I'm so grateful to have her for a friend and I really hope that we'll do this again soon!

We had great seats. We were in the balcony but we were in front row so it was perfect! Here's the view I had of the stage.

Passover Eggs! haha!

Today I did Easter Eggs with the boys. We had a lot of fun because really the boys have never done this. They're Jewish and when we mentioned to their dad that we would be doing this he said they had to make some passover eggs too since today is the first day of Passover. So we drew some Star of Davids on some of them to make them Jewish... But really Easter Eggs have nothing to do with Jesus so I had no problem doing this with them!

The boys said that Casey was amazing at this!

Birthday Party!

Today we went and played with the little boy I used to babysit Luke. Luke is only 2 days older than Kaitlynn so it's fun to see how different they are. Last year they played together too, click here to see the pictures!

They both were very hesitant at first but once Luke's mom left he was ready to play! But Kaitlynn wasn't! Kaitlynn needed coaxing to be nice and play!

Really we only got this picture because we told Kaitlynn she would get a snack if she did it :)

I like this picture because we're singing if you're happy and you know it and Kaitlynn loves keeping her fingers on her face because "her face will surely show it" and Luke is clapping because "he's happy and he knows it!" Love this song with babies!

Today was the last full day that Rebecca and Kaitlynn are here! So sad! Here are all of our pictures!

So we put Kaitlynn down for a nap and we actually hid and fell asleep ourselves, but Kaitlynn took a looooong time to fall asleep and she kept doing stuff but we couldn't see her so we couldn't tell what she was doing, well when she woke up this is what she looked like! How did she do that? And wow does that look uncomfortable!

Today after church we went inside and hung out with the boys. It was so cute because C was in the living room reading so Kaitlynn got a book and went and read with him.

The family I work for is Jewish and today they went and learned how to make Challah. Here's one that C made:

Yesterday Becca bought an "I <3 NY" Shirt for Kaitlynn so here we are in our matching shirts!

I have a bunch of picture magnets on my refrigerator that Kaitlynn kept reorganizing for me, well this time she was just walking around with them pretending like she was on the phone, so cute!

And she found my huge coca-cola bank...hopefully in a year it will be too heavy for her to pick up!

Well last year we brought Kaitlynn into the city (click here to see those pictures) and while it was fun it wasn't as fun as it could be! So this year we dropped her off at Roz's home and set off for the city that never sleeps!

We didn't have very much time to be there but we had time for Times Square, souvenior shopping, dinner, and a show!

It was so fun being able to spend time with my sister! I never get to do things with JUST her! I'm so sad that we only see each other a couple times a year!

Today is my 24th birthday! Crazy I know! To celebrate Rebecca, Kaitlynn, and I went with the family I work for out to eat at a Hibachi grill. It was sooo yummy, ask Kaitlynn if you don't believe me! Rebecca and Kaitlynn blowing on her soup! Kaitlynn always has to blow on everything, she must not trust her mommy!

In Hibachi the chef cooks in front of you and there are a few times when he'll have a big fire, Here's Kaitlynn's initial reaction to the flames, but the next few were very normal and she loved to look at the other tables when they had their fires!

Kaitlynn loved the food! Here she is stuffing noodles into her mouth! She made a HUGE mess!

Afterwards we went home and we had birthday cake! My employer had a candle with a 4 but not a 2 so that's why there's two candles and then a 4, and then there's a random one for good luck or something! There's 4 candles and it still took me two blows, horrible huh? I guess I'm not going to get my wish!

Well it was an ice cream cake and I hear it was good, I haven't had sugar in three weeks so I didn't have any. The best part about that is that I didn't care, I had no desire to eat it and having people eat it in front of me was no problem at all! I hope I can keep this up for a while!

The cool thing about Stew's for kids is that there are SOOOO many singing things! Kaitlynn saw them all and pointed to them all and we had to stand there and watch them sing! So cute!

So this morning when we had to take the boys to school Kaitlynn was sooooo sad when they got out of the car, she thought they were going to play with her! Then this afternoon I picked them up and then took them to more activities, she was not happy! This is how we entertained her as we waited for C's class to start! Today was Casey's birthday! Happy Birthday Casey! She turned 22! SO OLD!

For Casey's birthday she decided she wanted a FIESTA! So Fiesta is what she got! We had mexican food and a pinata! What more could you want in a party?!

One reason I love this family: When the pinata broke and the candy went everywhere, Roz was on the floor wrestling with her children "trying" to get the candy before they did :) so cute!

Goodbye Candy...

For a week and half I've been doing a challenge that my mom challenged all my siblings with. Let me tell you, it's not for the weak minded! You have to have self-control! Here's what it is! There's a list of ten items you need to do each day, for each item you do each day you get a point, tally up the points and at the end of the week send your points to my mom. The ten items are: drink 48oz of water, exercise 20 minutes, 2 servings of fruits and veggies (each), no sweets or soda, no fast food or unhealthy snacks, no eating after 8pm, read scriptures 15 minutes, write in your journal, and then you're supposed to make a family goal and a personal goal. Well since I have no family ;) I made two personal goals, practice the piano for 15 minutes (I'm taking piano lessons) and go to bed by 11pm (trust me this is much earlier than the midnight and later I was previously going to bed at...).

Well!! I've been doing amazing! I carry my journal and water bottle around with me in my purse and always seem to be checking things off of my list! I like it because it gives me something to think about during the day, things I want to do. I haven't had candy, soda, or desserts of any kind in a week and a half! Plus I've been exercising nearly every day (if you exercise for 40 minutes it counts for another day). I love it because I feel happier and I have more energy! Sugar is not worth this feeling!

Every year Caroline, Connor, and Christina's school goes to a Sound Tigers game (click here to see last years post and click here to see the year before), it's really fun, their friends are there, you get to have snacks, you get to yell, if you're lucky there's a fight, and if you're REALLY lucky they win! Well let's just say we were REALLY REALLY LUCKY! Here are some pictures!

Connor didn't make it very long, half way into the first act he was already sleeping on my shoulder, during intermission we laid him on a coat on the ground and he laid there. I guess he got a lot out of it though, he was telling Roz on the way home all the different songs he liked and most of them were after he was laying down.

Happy Birthday Caroline!

Today is Caroline's 11th birthday! Geez when I started working for her family she was 8!!! How time has flown! I guess time flies when you're having fun! I love her like a sister and I'm so glad that I could join her and her family for this fun event! As you'll see in these pictures I also brought my three boys over for the fun! Enjoy the pictures!

Last Friday I had Caroline (the ten year old I used to nanny) come and spend the night with me because it was my first night sleeping in my cottage (my employers have a small little home on their property for my exclusive use, up until now it was getting painted and other things done) and so I wanted her to be there with me. Well her brother Connor was wondering when it was going to be his turn so his mom and nanny told him that he could be next (um thanks for asking me) so I decided that this weekend Connor AND Christina could come spend the night with me. It was so much fun! The three boys I currently nanny came out and watched "The Little Rascals" with us and then after that the two of them slept on my trundle bed. We had soooo much fun, this is definitely something we're going to do again! I love my kiddos!

This weekend Casey and I went to Boston and had sooooo much fun! Here are some pictures!

We went to the Boston Museum of Science and it was fun to do all of the experiments. Here's one where it measures the air capacity in your lungs, you have to see how much air you can blow into the container in one breath.

This container started totally submerged and you blow air into it and then the girl measured how much you had blown into it.

They have a Lightening show that they do a few times a day and I told Casey that I remembered going to it a long time ago with my family and it was really cool so we should make sure we went, she agreed that it sounded cool. So we went and we were sitting in the audience and he asked for five volunteers, anyone who knows me knows that OF COURSE I raised my hand, Casey did not! I was one of the five who was picked. So he has us all stand up there and then he said that he's going to do a little experiment and asked if the girl in the green could help him, I was a little shocked that he was talking about me! So he explained different things about electricity and then told us about this machine that he has and how touching it should be a "hair raising" experience (hint hint) and so he had me touch it and then turned the machine on. Nothing happened. Immediately in my head I was thinking there was something wrong with me, I didn't feel any different and everyone had expected my hair to get all staticky.

But then he explained that just as fast as it was going into my arm it was coming out of me through my legs, so he had me stand on a box and this happened:

My bangs just stood up! It was so embarrassing! I was on a huge screen so tons of people could see it and I looked silly with all of my hair normal and my bangs just floating in front of my face! So I shook my head and this is what I looked like!

HOt huh?!

Then he was ready for the rest of the people who were there, he had the four people hold hands and the person on the end of the line put their hand up in a fist. Then I had to put my hand out and without even touching them I shocked them all, it was awesome and man did it hurt! You could see the electricity go between our fists, soooo cool!

The next day we did the beginning of the Freedom trail, it was fun to see so many historical places! Here's Boston Commons where the Trail starts.

Here's the lovely red line we just kept following! It was seriously sooooo cold that day! I joked that instead of being called the freedom trail it should be the FREEZING trail!

Today we went on a fun play date at Caroline, Connor, and Christina's house. I love that my boys have so much fun playing with them, it makes me happy that all of the kids I love can have fun together! We stayed for a long time and even had dinner there with them. But in order for us to be able to stay for a long time we had to do our homework there before dinner, so here are all six kids trying to get their homework done so that they can go play some more!

But as you can see their hearts weren't really in it!

Susanna really is my helper! Today we made Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and they turned out sooo yummy!

It was soooo cute, when I was walking to my house with her I was asking her if she wanted to make the cookies and she said that she didn't like raisins and that neither did her sister or brother, but her parents do and that's why they got married. Haha what a good reason to get married, because you both like raisins :)

For New Years Eve we played a bunch of "Minute to Win It" games, it was soooo much fun! It definitely made midnight come a lot faster! Here are some pictures:

This game you had to get six ding dongs balanced on your head

This game you had a candy cane in your mouth and you had to use it as a hook and get candy canes from one bowl on one side of the room to another bowl on the other side of the room, it was pretty funny.

This one has some LOVELY pictures, this was seeing how many marshmallows you could stuff in your mouth, Rob stuffed 11 in his mouth and could still close it.

This is a game where you have to put an oreo on your forehead and without using your hands get it from there to your mouth, Katie was the only one who could do this, eventually I think Jason got it too.

This game is where you wear a headband with a slinky on top, the first person to get it to stand up straight wins.

This one was definitely entertaining! So five people stand in a line, each has a toothpick in their mouth. The first person puts a lifesaver on their toothpick and you have to pass it down the line until it gets to the last person and when the last person has five that's when it's over. Very Interesting game!

Next game you line up a bunch of cans then you put a stocking on your head that has a ball at the end and you have to knock over the cans by walking and bending over and walking like an elephant hitting them with your trunk.

This one you start with two pencils and you balance them on the back of your hand and then flick them up in the air and catch them, then you progressively go up by twos, first person to balance and catch 12 wins

Then we moved outside for something a little messier! These guys are watching from the window so that they wouldn't get cold!

This game was fun! You have to try to drop a mentos into a bottle of Diet Coke. You know who wins because they react to each other and the soda starts exploding out of the bottle!

Then of course we had to make it even more interesting! We wanted to see how big of an explosion we could make if we shoved a bunch of mentos in! Well by the look on my face in this lovely picture it scared the crap out of me!

Basically I had a WAY fun New Years with my family I'm glad I was able to be in town!

Christmas at our house wasn't all the excitement it used to be, but we still had fun! Despite the fact that our dad told us Santa couldn't come because we didn't go to bed on time (My flight didn't arrive until about 10:45pm and so we were still up and about after midnight) he still came! But since we're all older the only person we had fun watching on Christmas morning was little Miss Mae! Here she is with some of her presents!

The 12 days of Christmas!

Starting on December 13th I started giving gifts to Roz and her family as the twelve days of Christmas. They got a lot of fun things and I was trying to make it so they didn't know it was me (Roz knew instantly though, dang it). I gave them candles, a Disney scene-it game, a Christmas movie, candy canes, place mats, cookies, sprite, popcorn, etc. All of these things came with a little poem. Well on the last day they got a puzzle and it was supposed to help them figure out who it was that was giving them all of these gifts, it took them a bit but eventually they figured it out! ME!

Today was B's 10th Birthday! To celebrate we all went out to dinner at a very good Italian Food place. Here are a couple pictures of the gang!

Rockefeller Center

A few weeks ago I asked Roz if she was going to take her kids into New York City to see the huge Christmas Tree in Rockefeller Center because if so I wanted to tag a long, she said she had no desire to go but that Casey and I could take them, so I jumped at the chance! Today we finally went, it was so much fun! Here are our pictures!

So all the kids knew was that they were going to do something fun today and it wasn't going to be with their mom. Well I ruined one of the surprises when I pulled into the driveway. But they still didn't know where we were going. They kept guessing things like Hike, McDonalds, a friend's home, etc.... Finally when we pulled in front of the train station they know... NEW YORK CITY!

Connor and Christina had a fun time counting all of the train stations we passed on the way there.

So two of the boys I nanny for don't know how to ride bikes, so we decided today that we would go to an empty church parking lot and practice for a little bit. Well lucky us Caroline, Connor, Christina, and Casey came too! Here are some pictures of the fun we had at their house afterwards:

Look where I went today!!!

Ok so the reason I went to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island today is because my ward planned it as a ward activity. Well I just got put into the activities committee a week ago and I said that I could go this activity so they put me in charge of meeting the group there. Well the facebook group that had invited the ward to the activity only had me as for sure going and then several other maybes, so being afraid I was going to be going alone I took my trusty sidekick Caroline! And guess what, we did do it alone! Two girls did it earlier then the group was supposed to do it and two girls where late, but that's ok Caroline and I had a lot of fun today!

Here we are listening to our headsets, we did an audio tour and it was really cool because it told us about everything and told us stories about some of the people who had passed through Ellis Island.

If you ask Caroline what we did today she'll tell you this:

"We woke up at 7, got in the car, got on a train, got on a shuttle, then got on the subway, then got on a Ferry. Then we walked around for a while, got on a ferry, and walked around for even longer. After that we got on a ferry, got on a subway, got on a shuttle, back onto the train, and then into the car..." lots of traveling today!

Volleyball Game

Tonight Caroline and I went and saw a college volleyball game. To make a long story short it's because I'm now friends with my Freshman Volleyball Coach on Facebook and for some reason her daughter is playing volleyball in New York, so her mom told me about her game and told me I should go if I could. It was fun to watch people play good volleyball and fun to introduce Caroline to the best sport in the world!

Roz's Musical Revue

Tonight I went and saw Roz in her musical revue! She was amazing, as always! I love hearing her sing, she is sooo talented! I'm glad that she has opportunities like these to share her talent with all of us.

The kids loved it! Connor waved at his mom every time she was on stage and Christina kept saying "Mommy!" They are all definitely proud of her!

Rebecca and I went and saw Katie's show last night and tonight! I love it! Katie does an amazing job and I'm proud to tell people she's my sister! Here's a few of us that went tonight, last night we had even more family there to see it!

Going to Arizona means I get to meet my newest niece Kaitlyn! Some of you may be saying, no Kaitlynn is over a year now, who is the baby in this picture? Well it's Kaitlyn, Kaitlynn's baby cousin! Haha confused yet?

Two years ago when my brother Chris and his wife were pregnant they decided that they weren't going to find out what the gender of the baby was, they wanted it to be a surprise. Well when it got down to when they were going to have the baby they were sooooo sure it was going to be a girl, so they only had a girl name picked out, Kaitlyn Marie. Well lo and behold they had a healthy baby BOY! Well a year later my sister Rebecca has a baby girl and not knowing of Chris and Maria's love of the name she named her baby girl Kaitlynn Mae. Well a year later Chris and Maria being pregnant again have a baby girl this time and are now faced with a dilemma, the name they loved is the name of the next oldest grandchild. Well about a week after the baby was born they finally decided, what the heck, and named her Kaitlyn too! Now I have two cute Kaitlynns!

Well Kaitlynn Mae LOVES babies so of course she had to hold baby Kaitlyn!

But then she was done and just tried to push her away, it was soooo funny!

Surprise trip to Arizona!

A couple months ago I learned that my little sister Katie had gotten the part in her high school musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" as the narrator, this is the main female lead. I was sooooo excited for her! So my parents, sister, and I decided that it would be really fun to book flights to Arizona so that we could surprise Katie and come and see the show. All of my siblings live in AZ except for me and Rebecca. We both of course told her that we WISH we could come but under the circumstances it just wasn't in our budgets to come, but Katie promised me that when I came home for Christmas she would sing some of the songs for me so that I could hear them!

Well Becca flew in late last night and to keep the secret she stayed at her best friend's families home (only a street away) and I flew in today around noon while Katie was at school. Conveniently Katie needed someone to come pick her up from school around 1:30, right when Rebecca and I were driving home from the airport. So my mom told her that my dad would pick her up because we were driving his car. So when Katie saw the car driving up she started walking towards it. I rolled down my window so that she could see me and she started running and yelled, "You came!" She was soooo happy and surprised! She looked past me at Rebecca who was driving and yelled "You both came!" she hugged me and then ran to Rebecca and by then Katie was crying she was so was happy we were there, Rebecca even started crying too. It was so fun to be able to do something like this for Katie. I always feel bad that I live across the country and I only see her a few times a year. I really wish that I could live out here and still be a really good big sister for her and be there when she needs me. Katie I love you so much and I'm soooo proud of you and everything you're accomplishing!

Adventures in Sleepy Hollow

Tonight I went with a few of my friends to a haunted house in the town of Sleepy Hollow in New York. It was so much fun! Here are some of the pictures I took:

You can't be in Sleepy Hollow without the Headless Horseman! I was trying to take a picture of him when the horse started charging towards me! So scary! Here he is when the horse just STOPPED right in front of me taking a picture!

Ok now here's a funny story! So this pumpkin head dude was right next to the path and we were waiting in line so we were just standing by it. It kept twisting back and forth, back and forth, so it took me a bit to actually get this picture because I figured it was on some sort of motor thing and I couldn't quite get it when it was facing me. So we got a little past it and I turned around to talk to my friend Casey when all of the sudden it was walking towards us! It scared the crap out of me and all I could say was, "It's coming towards us, it's coming towards us..." and Casey had no clue what I was talking about and turned and screamed! It was so funny and scary! We really had no clue that there was a person in there! Of course now that I see the picture you can see the face, but that's only because of the really bright flash.
