Happy Birthday Casey!

Today was Casey's birthday! Happy Birthday Casey! She turned 22! SO OLD!

For Casey's birthday she decided she wanted a FIESTA! So Fiesta is what she got! We had mexican food and a pinata! What more could you want in a party?!

Here Casey is with her cute little donkey!

And here we are trying to rip it apart :)

One reason I love this family: When the pinata broke and the candy went everywhere, Roz was on the floor wrestling with her children "trying" to get the candy before they did :) so cute!

Christina was so excited by how many starburst she got from the pinata!

Are you one? Are you two? Are you three? Are you four? Are you five? Are you six? Are you seven? Are you eight? Are you nine? Are you ten? Are you eleven? Are you twelve? Are you thirteen? Are you fourteen? Are you fifteen? Are you sixteen? Are you seventeen? Are you eighteen? Are you nineteen? Are you twenty? Are you twenty-one? Are you twenty-two?! STOP!!! Oh...my...word...that took forever!

Casey was even lucky enough to get TWO cakes! Can you tell which one was homemade? I hear they were both delicious (I wouldn't know [read the post below])

Casey and her helper Connor opening up presents!

Towards the end of the night Connor started walking around with the pinata on his head... such a silly boy!

Goodbye Candy...

For a week and half I've been doing a challenge that my mom challenged all my siblings with. Let me tell you, it's not for the weak minded! You have to have self-control! Here's what it is! There's a list of ten items you need to do each day, for each item you do each day you get a point, tally up the points and at the end of the week send your points to my mom. The ten items are: drink 48oz of water, exercise 20 minutes, 2 servings of fruits and veggies (each), no sweets or soda, no fast food or unhealthy snacks, no eating after 8pm, read scriptures 15 minutes, write in your journal, and then you're supposed to make a family goal and a personal goal. Well since I have no family ;) I made two personal goals, practice the piano for 15 minutes (I'm taking piano lessons) and go to bed by 11pm (trust me this is much earlier than the midnight and later I was previously going to bed at...).

Well!! I've been doing amazing! I carry my journal and water bottle around with me in my purse and always seem to be checking things off of my list! I like it because it gives me something to think about during the day, things I want to do. I haven't had candy, soda, or desserts of any kind in a week and a half! Plus I've been exercising nearly every day (if you exercise for 40 minutes it counts for another day). I love it because I feel happier and I have more energy! Sugar is not worth this feeling!

Here's a picture of my M&M's in the garbage! I don't need you! Even if you are filled with yummy peanut butter goodness! Leave me alone!

WICKED!

Tonight for my friend Casey's birthday I surprised her with tickets to go see Wicked on Broadway. She's never seen it and I figured it's a must see when you live sooo close to NYC! I was so excited about it all month because I knew I was going to see it (It was my third time seeing it)! It was amazing, of course!

Surprise!

Tonight we had a surprise party for the dad that I work for. The mom has had it planned for a while. She rented out their favorite restuarant and told him that they were meeting two couples there for dinner. Here they are waiting for him to come, I love this picture.

Here I am with the youngest boy I nanny, Isn't he SOOO cute?!

Sound Tigers!

Every year Caroline, Connor, and Christina's school goes to a Sound Tigers game (click here to see last years post and click here to see the year before), it's really fun, their friends are there, you get to have snacks, you get to yell, if you're lucky there's a fight, and if you're REALLY lucky they win! Well let's just say we were REALLY REALLY LUCKY! Here are some pictures!

Seriously only 4 minutes into the game there was a fight and boy was it a good one!

Love this girl!

Between periods they throw out T-shirts, here Christina is jumping and yelling that she wants one...

...then here Connor is, he wasn't quite sure if he wanted one because the Sound Tiger's Mascot was throwing them too and he is sooooo afraid of him!

What can I say? I'm in love!

You may wonder why I would put this picture on... well it's because there's only ONE thing at a Sound Tiger's game that can make Connor look like this!

THIS!!! Look how close he was to our seats!
I couldn't help it, I had to get a picture of them with him to show Connor that he wouldn't kill them or eat them or anything! (Click here and then here for another really funny Connor/Mascot story [read them both, they go together])

You may also be wondering why sweet, beautiful Caroline would have such a sad face, the next picture says it all...

Love this picture!

Casey and Connor

Christina and I went to the bathroom and on our way there look who we met! After the picture she gave him a hug, a kiss, and then another hug... so cute!

Well The sound tigers ended up winning 2 to 1 in overtime, it was a fun game!

Roz's Musical Revue

Tonight we went and saw Roz's Musical Revue that she's been practicing so hard for. It's full of Cole Porter's music, which means I didn't know very much but it was still good! Click here to see my post from her musical revue last year! Here are a few pictures I took, ENJOY!
Casey and Christina
Connor didn't make it very long, half way into the first act he was already sleeping on my shoulder, during intermission we laid him on a coat on the ground and he laid there. I guess he got a lot out of it though, he was telling Roz on the way home all the different songs he liked and most of them were after he was laying down.

Gotta love intermission, lots of empty seats to lounge on.

Here's Roz singing her solo, she was amazing of course!

Christina's Birthday!

Today is Christina's 7th Birthday!!! I can't believe she's so old now! When I first started as her nanny she was only 4 years old! Here's a picture of us way back then:

Here are the pictures from her party!

Here she is blowing out her candles!

Here's the cake that Casey made, it's the Beatle's Yellow Submarine (I can't seem to get the picture to rotate sorry)! Christina wanted a Beatle's Birthday.

Here she is with the presents I gave her. A Mario Beach Towel, a Barbie movie, and a talking dog that tells you that he loves you. She LOVES the dog!

Happy Birthday Christina! I love you so much!
